if you don't know how to make your own original character for Elementals of Tsikiri,  here's how!

 

Species:

OCs and characters can be any species. Any type creature.

Dog, cat, fish, reptile, griffin, mythical creatures you name it!

However it should be noted that it is canon that Akira is the only Kitsune on Tsikiri and is hinted to be the only and/or last of her kind.  

The only species that doesn't exist on Tsikiri are humans. Now, things like half human creatures are fine. Such as mermaids, harpies centaurs ect. But regular humans don't exist.

 

Magic and Conduits:

when it comes to magic, and conduits, the conduit can be any item! It could be a baby tooth your character lost but held onto, or even something as simple as a leaf or an apple!

If the conduit is a piece of food or a plant or something that can rot, wilt, or wither, if it's a conduit it's protected. So technically it won't wilt or rot. 

 

Conduit recharging:

 Simply put magic doesn't come from the conduit.

Or you.

Conduits are just regular items.

Akira's bell collar is an ordinary collar.

Newts Mossy rock is just a rock.

Elder Helek's snake cane is just an ordinary cane.

Creatures are not born with this magic.

 Akira is an ordinary kitsune, Newt is just an ordinary Kobold ect.

But conduits used for magic ISN'T because of magical properties.

It's because the entire world of Tsikiri is magical.

Magic flows in the ocean. on land in forests, in valleys, even in the sky.

it's everywhere and technically it IS possible to use magic without a conduit.

you don't even need one. as long as you concentrate and focus on what type of magic you wanna use, magic flows into your body, and comes out through you.

But because the magic in Tsikiri is filled with a magical essence, when it MIXES into the bodies of the living beings, over time, the essence from magic being mixed in with the essence of the living (their spiritual side. doesn't matter if you're good or evil. it still isn't good to mix these things) Over time, parts of Tsikiri dies.

The more they use magic this way, they more.. corrupt they become.

 

That's where conduits come into play!

Conduits are just vessels  used to channel magic, so long as the item you're using as a conduit means something to you. it wont work right if it's just a random item!
so as long as the item means something to you, magic flows through you, THEN into your item. THEN out to attack with or show off or whatever the type of magic is the user uses.

 

Magic and Conduit recharging:

 

 

with each individual magic user, they can learn up to 4 Elemental magics!

learning anymore than 4 will cause your conduit to overclock and recharge for 48 hours. (wow! that's a long time without magic to protect yourself! best not to overclock your conduit and risk recharging!)

Because magic flows into Tsikiri from the Elemental orbs that the guardian Nymphs watch over, the magic in the land is very powerful. even WITH a conduit. It's best to choose 4 elements and stick with that. if you like the idea of flying, while shooting electricity, while blinding your enemies with light, while they can't do anything but stay coiled in a thorny vine, then you'd have the elemental magic of Air,  Electricity, light, and Nature) 

 

As a new Indie Developer creating this show, I personally was very surprised with people asking if OCs can be made, and you've all drawn such lovely designs!
